Check out the new widget, courtesy of the folks at Transparent Language! Every day there will be a new word to learn, and an example of how to use it in context. Just a little something fun and interesting while waiting for the spring camping season.
We're working on some new items for 2012. Head over to the New Items page and check them out! Be sure to contact us if you're interested in any of them!
See y'all at the BMW MOA "Return to Shiloh" rally this weekend! I'll have an AI-101 set up for everyone to try out!
The new AI-101 sleeping bags are now in stock, and they look great! More heater attachments have arrived as well!
After a little production delay, the AI-101 bags are now en route from Japan! In the meantime, I've decided to hold a fundraiser/contest for the Japanese Red Cross. Details are on the front page. Enter early, enter often, and best of luck to you!
It won't be long now! The new batch of AI-101 sleeping bags are being made in Japan as I type this (okay, it's really just after midnight in Japan as I type this). There will be two sizes offered. Gen and I having been referring to these sizes as "American" and "Japanese". However, it is the norm to use "Men's" and "Ladies/Kids" when referring to sleeping bag sizes. But I think - just for fun - I'll keep referring to the different sizes as "American" and "Japanese". What do you think?
It took a little longer than expected (my fault), but the new wicking shirts are finally here! I've also got a limited supply of the bandanas! Get 'em while they last!
First, the good news: The Breezy Brigade shirts are one step closer to being available! Leader Gen has received the first batch, and you can check one out here.
Now, the bad news: The AI-101 will not be available again until probably September. Part of the manufacturing process takes place in the Sendai area, and they are still trying to recover from the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami back in March. Which leads to more news: A portion of all sales from this website will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross, in an effort to help with their ongoing recovery. Although the earthquake, tsunami and even the nuclear plant are out of the American news cycle, these good people still need our help. またね。 Chris Got an email from "Leader Gen" with a shot of the new t-shirt design. Check it out on the clothes page! These will be available in July, so if you want one from the first shipment, send me an email through the contact form with your size and I'll set one (or however many you want) aside for you.
